opel kid is on a distinguished road
Exclamation Unanswered: two missing wires...
i have a 1969 Opel GT 4 speed
there are two wires that go to the transmission and....yea i can't find them...
to save me some time(i'm lazy) looking through wiring diagrams i am asking if anyone knows what color they are???


my other problem i would like to add with that is i can't find the wires that go to my oil pump...what colors are they?

HELP!!!

Back-up light switch at rear of tranny, on the underside by tail-shaft housing . . .

confusing
all i know is it's the only place beside the transmission that has two places you can hook wires to.these places there not separated the places are beside each other

4-speed backup switch . . . 2 wires

Back up switch located on the linkage on the driver side. There is a small lever that is activated when shifting into reverse.

Purple and white/black.

Oil pressure sender wires are Lt. blue/green.

The back-up switch is item #52 on the '69 GT wiring diagram with a lilac "12V source" wire and a white/black load wire to the back-up light.
