Unanswered: Manta Brake light switch
First is the Manta (1974) brake light switch the same unit as an Opel GT brake light switch? 2nd question....How do you remove the brake light switch from the Manta? I did not see any info in the forums or in the repair manual. I would guess it is just a nut on the rear side of the switch? |

Gordy;
I don't think the GT switch is the same, but, you are correct in that there is a nut on the back side holding the switch in on a Manta. There is also a rubber bumper ring surronding the nut, so, that would have to be removed.

Gordy, I can't remember the switch exactly it's been so long since I've worked on my Manta, but have a look here, and see if that might work for you. Hth, Jarrell
