Here are some part numbers from when I ordered to get you in the right ball park on the correct style of connectors A27584CT-ND A27587CT-ND A27590CT-ND A27934CT-ND I believe you can even get the extra small spades from them as well that are used in the ignition switch and all. The side crimp ones are the toughest as they take a separate crimper to crimp. These would be like what are on some engine wires to the coil and such. |

Paul, during the wiring of Willit?, I used standard 1/4" male and female spade lugs, removed the insulation sleeve, soldered the wire to the lug after putting the appropriate size shrink-sleeve on the wire. I've had too many problems with crimped connectors to do any electrical work otherwise. HTH.

I bought all my connectors through McMaster, the only one they don't carry is the one that snaps into the fuse box connectors, I re-used several of those from a junk fuse box where I had to after cleaning them.

Tyco brand
You need Tyco brand connectors and a special crimping tool for these. They are sold by Digi-key. I have several rolls of them and use them when rebuilding my harnesses. They are the correct style that Opel and VW/BMW used from the factory.

Been thinking of duplicating the factory style crimp as noted, but never got to it. I use the same method as Ron (link #2). Industrial Liquidators (local store on Convoy St, San Diego) has the uninsulated terminals.
