Unanswered: where does this wire hook up???

Have instrument panel off. Need to know where a specific wire hooks to.....I see the wire harness goes to cigarette lighter--- then another black wire comes back out of the cigarette lighter and is not attached anywhere.<----where does this wire attach to/what is it for? Thanks! Wiring diagram is a little hard to read....

Goes to heater fan switch terminal closest to the edge of the switch assembly. That would be the one on the left when looking from the back of the instrument panel. This is on a '73 GT.
