Unanswered: Early Kadett B dash pad removal

Checked the forums and the FSM and don't see any info on how to remove the upper dash pad on an early (67 rear leaf springed) Kadett B. This has just the 3 inch pad (front to rear measurement) that runs along the top of the dash board from side to side. There must be some clips or hidden retainers because there are no obvious screws or anything that show on top or from below. Always like to ask before I just dig into it!

The newer one's have nuts on the rear (through the metal dash). I was about to say "they are screwed in from behind" but I want to keep the forum family rated
