I had a problem with rats living in my last restoration project. One actually jumped out when I was taking out the seats. Rat and mice droppings where everywhere and the smell was nasty. They dirtied the carpet and seats. I ended up removing all the interior.
Make a solution of one quart of warm water with a good squirt of liquid soap and an ounce of bleach. Use a respirator and gloves and spray the solution from a bottle or yard sprayer onto the area needing treatment as best you can. Then scrub with a nylon brush. Taking the rear lights out helps. This will loosen and clean the surface. Shop vac up the residue. Repeat if necessary. That is pretty much all you will need to do. But, if you want you can spray some Febreze or other odor eliminator and just let it dry. Jerry |
