Unanswered: intercheange Manta B - Ascona B, front axle

I have a friend owner of an Ascona B - 1977 with the lower arms of front axle (I don't know the exact english name but I hope I made myself clear) bent in a car crush. He found a possible Manta B donor from 1978.

Are this parts intercheangeable or not? Do they fit as dimensions?

Thank you in advance.

I am pretty sure they are the same, and could be interchanged. The Ascona B and the Manta B are the same except from the body, as far as I know.
I hope somebody will correct me if I`m wrong.

Same chassis different body, so every thing under the car is interchangeable

Thumbs up

All of the suspension parts upper and lower control arms are the same from Ascona/B-Manta/B

Also the same is to the rear axle and of cource the engine parts also.

You may use also the lower control arms from a diesel motor CROSSMEMBER ASSY FRONT AXLE as a heavy duty ones
