Unanswered: Weird Noise While Turning

I'm not sure if this is a common problem (I'm not the greatest with the drivetrain).. but I remember when I was driving a GT quite a while ago, when I would go to make a turn on occasion, it sounded as if something was clicking real loud.. kind of like a grinding, but more of a clicking noise lol. It was coming from the passenger side. It kind of sounded like the passenger seat was loose and was rubbing on the threads of the seat bolt. Then again, could something like that make a loud enough noise? (Like I heard)

A rear wheel bearing that is failing can sound like that as the noise is transfered up through the torque tube to the floor pan just behind/under the seats.

Typically, turning from left to right and back again will make the noise appear and disappear as the bearing is loaded and unloaded by the side thrust caused by the side-to-side forces involved.

My pinion bearing made a clicking noise when it was failing. I couldn't hear it inside the car so much, but could hear it reflecting off of the curb with the drivers side window rolled down. I replaced it and then heard no more noise.

Dump the lube out of the rear end and examine it for any silvery particles.
When you're turning, the differential activity (spider gears/side gears) are spinning a bunch. A failure in there shows first as tiny chunks of metal. Then big ones.
When's the last time anyone changed their gear lube anyway? Rarely, huh?

One time my S10 had an annoying noise. The passenger seat was loose. No kidding.

No Opels were harmed in the filming of this movie.
However two Mustangs, a Pinto, and a Capri were hospitalized.
One Mustang was euthanized the next morning.

Sometimes in a turn your fan blades can rub against the fan shroud. This can happen if the shroud isn't fastened on right.
