Unanswered: single or dual piston calipers?

Hi, my front right brake caliper stuck, so I pulled it apart to see what was wrong. I found everything to look rebuilt, but sat around to long and needs to be redone. I started lookin for parts found that the other calipers that was showing, that fit my car were single piston, but I have two piston calipers. I tried to read in here to find the answer, just got more confused (need answers). There are so many ideas here it is great makes me have to think about what I want to do to have the best brakes. Is the single piston the stock brake on a 1969 Opel GT or did they come out with both depending on the motor size? Do I already have a upgrade? I want to put 1975 Manta calipers on the front.

Opel used only dual-piston, solid-mounted calipers, not sliding, single piston type, on all their front discs here . . . .

The stock 2 piston Opel calipers with the V/W Audi,Saab, pads are a problem.
There good for stopping a 2000 lb car at 100 mph in about a million feet.
OGTS has the rebuild kits minus the half seals.
Those pistons will come out..but you'll have to work at it.
