The master cylinder for the kadett should be the same as a GT, so I don't see any reason why the Geo Metro one wouldn't swap like it does with the GT.

First of all, Welcome Back! I had begun to wonder if the earth had swallowed you. Almost called a time or two just to find out! Glad to hear you've been enjoying your Opel. The last I heard you had some bad luck from some used parts you had purchased. Sounds like Rodney got you fixed up.
