I am in the process of fixing my front brakes on my kadett and have been told that mustang II spindles will convert to disc brakes however i am not sure how easy it is to put those spindles on and would gladly take some suggestions and any other ideas for braking

It's the first time I've heard anything about Mustang spindles in the Opel-world. Where is this information coming from? Is it first-hand, or from a friend's neighbor's nephew? If they could indeed be made to fit, that would definitely be an option a lot of people would consider.
Keep us informed!
Welcome anyway!

well hasnt it been said the 1.9 front spindles can be fitted onto the 1.1? If so then they came with disc brakes so conversion is simplified.

Both statements are correct, they fit just fine and there must be more than one thread telling about.
When I heard "Mustang spindles" I was thinking BIG rotors, BIG brakes, 5-lug wheels and all the fine stuff that kinda comes with larger engine conversions.
