Unanswered: Brake Booster

Does the brake booster on a 73 opel gt need a vacuum hose connected to it? if so where does that hose go to?Thanks

The booster will not operate without vacuum. The brakes will work (poorly) without the booster, but unless the line from the manifold is plugged, you will have one heck of a vacuum leak!

Yep...thanks for the clarification A-D.
I found the diagram in the opel photo gallery Vacuum Weber one-way Distributor - Opel Photo Gallery) when I was looking for a pic of the intake manifold. Unfortunately I didn't catch your comment on the original posting.
