Unanswered: 1970 Stock Wheels and 1975 Big Brakes

I have seen conflicting posts on this.

Do the 1975 Manta (Big Brake) calipers/hoses clear the 1968-1970 stock 3 piece wheels?

What do you mean by "3 piece" wheels? I know for a fact the 74 rally wheels will clear the 75 calipers, as I have run them on my wife's 74 Sportwagon. I used her stock rally wheels for over a year with her front brakes upgraded to 75.

I do not think that they will clear stock GT rims as they have a different offset than Manta Ascona rims(even though the 1973 Rally wheel looks the same)

When I say 3-piece, I am including the two trim pieces and the steel wheel.

I have 1970 GT rims (as in your photo) on my stock 1975 Ascona (w/ big brakes). I just drove it to work this morning.

In my experience, the 1974 rally rims would not fit my '75 Ascona. Not even close...
