Unanswered: Booster vacuum leak

My brake booster has a massive vacuum leak. you can hear it even with the hood closed. at first I thought it was the nozzle where the big hose from the intake manifol goes, but i replaced the gasket and sealed it up good, but the leak still exists. What are my options here? Is it possible to have the booster repaired or will I have to order a new one from OGTS? This really makes tuning the car difficult.

hi it will not tune at all with a vac leak so dont bother
give it a while and you will find some one here that might have a spare
i do but im about 7000 miles from you so postage would be a killer
for now you may as well park it up as its going to go to the point where you have no assistance to the brakes A VERY BAD PLACE TO BE

My brake booster also gave it up about a week ago (see http://www.opelgt.com/forums/showthr...hlight=booster)
I ordered one from OGTS. Dennis said they were expecting about 7 in from the rebuilder this week. Not sure if there is any way to repair these, other than sending them out. I think once the booster internal diaphram gets torn, the game is over.

This brings up a question. I have several brake boosters and Master cylinders from cars that have been parted out. Is there a way to test them out of the car? Thanks, Jarrell
