Unanswered: brake booster removal (Manta!)

I'm sorry this question has been asked before, but i have a feeling Mantas have it a bit different than GT's
Problem is i don't even know where to start to get it off. its just stuck to the firewall like magic, only thing i can unsrcew is the master cilinder, can i get to some bootster supports through there? or do i have to take the whole dash of in order to get to the back of the booster? mind you i have no manual.
btw do you know if any newer opel booster and cilinder would fit?
thanks.

No you don't have to take the dash out. Above the gas and brake pedal there are four nuts holding it in. I do believe they are ten's or 13's either way a wratchet, long extention and out they come.

that simple? wow...this forum really spoiled me, usually i would kill myself for two weeks before asking advice... i feel ashamed for not bothering to stick my head deep enough into the muddy floor to see if there is anything holding it there.

Thank you... i'm happy its not as hard as the GT, i hear those are a pain.

Don't feel bad I was looking around down there yesterday trying to figure out how to adjust the accelerator cable. I remember I was glad I didn't have to pull it to get it out of the way

As I recall having a universal swivel for just under the socket is helpful or an extension that is round cut and not square and rigid.
