How wide is it?

Hello to all- Does anyone know how wide the OEM Opel CIH rods are? I am trying to order new Eagle rods for my next racemotor and have cleverly forgotten this dimension! I have many old rods at the shop, but can't get to them till tomorrow, trying to plan rod specs tonight. Thanks! Ernie

.97" , Ernie. Just a tad less than the Ford 2.3 rod's width.
You do know that the 2.3 rod works quite nicely in the 1.9, right? Er, um, that's what I heard, anyway. Honest, Mr. Tech Man, we're stock!! Hahahahahahaha
Have you studied our thread called Con Rod FAQ's? Good stuff there, and you can always add to it!

I have no idea the .97XX sounds about right.
But like I said I'm clueless.
I wonder if you could put longer rods in? Just thinking out loud.
