Any valve cover from any CIH 4-cylinder head will fit on any other. 1.5; 1.6; 1.7; 1.9; 2.0; 2.2 & 2.4 ..so the cheapest way to make your engine bigger - is to fit a 2.2 or 2.4 valve cover! Well ... they will have a bigger number on the cover as the 2.2 & 2.4 have nice cast covers with their capacity cast on them. ![]() One thing - the cast GT 1.9 cover has a sloping front to clear the hood - pressed metal ones from the others and the cast 2.2 & 2.4 are higher there and may be lots closer to the inside of the hood. |

Any OPEL 1.9 CIH valve cover will fit any OPEL 1.9 CIH head. So will a 1.5 CIH for that matter.

If you want to be super flash you could also look for a Steinmetz or Irmshcer CIH rocker cover.........but dig deep, they're VVVVVVV expensive!!!!
Best place to find them is ebay.de

That's the GT valve cover, but, a lot of Opelers, here in the US and in Europe like to use them instead of the plain steel covers. That is aluminum and will polish up nicely.

The Opel GT valve cover you are showing is part of why GTs are so darned special. I see one of those valve covers and....well.... nevermind.
