Question Unanswered: Serial Numbers
Hey!

I just purchased a '73 GT, however I'm not certain if it has the original motor. I was just curious if anyone had information as to what serial numbers coincide with which years for the GT. I'm curious to know if I have the high or low compression motor... My engine number is:

*19S-0997482*

Any info would be appreciated!

Gabe,

It should be a low compression motor, unless someone rebuilt it with flat top pistons.
I have a 71 GT which had the original low compression engine, and my engine # is *19S-0755510*. I rebuilt it last year, and now it's not slow anymore ...
