Unanswered: Clutch Cable....

Ok this thing is on my last nerve... I read the book and it said to push in the "fork" to disengage clutch and disconnect it. By fork i guess they mean that arm that goes in and out and the cable is acutally connected to... WELL MY STUPID FORK THING WONT PUSH IN SO I CANT POP OFF THE STUPID CABLE! THIS IS THE SECOND DAY IN THE ROW AND IM GETTING SO MAD IM JUST ABOUT TO CUT IT AND BUY A NEW ONE IM TO THAT POINT. But before I go to the extreme I was just wondering if anybody had any tips on how to take off the cable

It's easy. With a screwdriver or pliers remove the e-ring where the cable goes through the firewall next to the left fender. That will give you slack to slide the end of the cable through the larger hole on the fork. To get the other end off, prop the clutch pedal up and push the cable through the firewall until it pops off.

I suggest not tugging on anything that you don't have a part for, you may find you can't get one, or you need to fix what you have...
that said... spedo cable only come out in one direction try the other end... does it turn?

You are talking about your speedometer cable and not your clutch cable...
how do you think a speedometer works? by turning,, it's made of a flexible cable with wire raped around it and that rape can Frey or even brake, but it is suppost to turn free..
as for the bolts read the book

i took one cap type thing off already. And there is like someting circluar going into the tranny just tried to take that off and it just kept spinning and spinning. Its the part that has the rod coming out of that you had to losen up and take out.

I just want to know how to take it out... I dont care if its damaged already big whoop... just how do you take it out
