70 Kadett Rallye automatic transmission leak

Its the automatic transmission and I have noticed a leak of red fluid and its coming from the connection where the speedometer connects to the tranny.

Do I have a major problem here?

Most likely the inner seal between the speedo driven gear and the drive sleeve needs to be replaced, and or the outer "O" ring between the drive sleeve and the tail shaft needs to be replaced.
