Need transmission info

I have an Opel transmission, part number 6668485 on the box. Can anyone tell me what year it is and where I can get rebuilding info? It is on an old garden tractor that I am rebuilding. Works great with the tractor but I can't figure out how to remove the tail housing (part 6696602). Any help would be great.

I don't think those are 'part numbers', maybe casting numbers.

A picture would be of better help. For the most part, finding another good Opel trans is easier than rebuilding. Definitely cheaper.
