Rear tranny seal HELP!

Ok i try to pop the seal out but all it did was start to destroy the old seal. What is the trick to it? Do i have to take it out from the inside?

Sometimes the are just stuck and don't want to come out. Use a bigger screw driver.

A seal puller from snap-on or any other tool dealer works well. It's shaped like a flattened out claw hammer and has a kind of leverage action that makes seal removal easier (and safer) thatn with a screw driver.

Destroy the seal you won't be reusing it anyway.
Try and not place any grooves in the inside dia. of the tail housing when removing the old seal. Easier said then done sometimes.
