Unanswered: A/C parts needed?

I don't know who it was, but, there was someone mentioning that they wanted or needed these pieces for a GT a/c system. These are the metal hoses that replace the rubber one to allow the compressor to be mounted. If anyone is looking for these contact me off site at bqs4 "at" yahoo.com or PM me. I will also place an ad in the classifieds shortly.

Hi Gene, I have one of those that Gil sent me to try out, on loan.
I want to try and get more hose to A/C compressor clutch clearance.
How does that thing mount???
I have a passenger side mounted Geo metro compressor, with custom brackets.
Gil wants his back so I will buy yours it if I can figure out how it goes and if it will work for my setup!
?
Thanks
Lyle

Fitting ...

The 'short' leg attaches to the lower radiator inlet with a short piece of rubber hose (and two hose clips) - the long leg sticks up and hooks in to the standard water pump . Just gives clearance for the wp & a/c belts.

Jim has a picture ....... somewhere!

OOPS! Gene is right - I think the hose has just been pushed on to the thermo housing in the picture - it does attach to the water pump .... when installed.

Lyle;
The top, or big end is where it comes out of the water pump.

Thanks for the help.
My Geo Metro type compressor mounts below the Opel water pump radiator hose outlet. On a custom alternator type, A/C bracket I made. Very tight clearance, but it does clear!

Now I see how the ARA York compressor mounts. This ARA cast aluminum spacer tube will not work for my application.
Thanks
Lyle
