Unanswered: switch box

i plan on making a custom switch box with a starter button,3-way toggle switches for turning signals, headlights, ect. and putting it were the cd player is. I was wandering how difficult it would be to wire all those things in a small box that could be taken out with ease?

It shouldn't be difficult to do, but why does it need to come out with ease? Also why in general would you want such a thing, trust me if you put turn signals there it won't be anything but a hassle.

I'm gonna guess you have a bad ignition switch and probably the turn signal switch is bad too, or you wouldn't be doing this mod. My suggestion would be to get hold of OGTS and see about getting your ignition switch repaired, also see if they have a turn signal switch plate. Then get hold of fellow Texan, "tekenaar" aka Otto and get one of his "Otto Start" systems. It will help save your ignition switch during the starting cycle. I'll tell you truly, you don't even want to start delving into the wiring of an Opel, especially if it's are like my GT. The turn signals are tied into the flasher can, hazard switch, and turn signal switch. Without a real good schematic, it will be a real PIA. JMTCW.

The thing is is the person before me was a southbound end of a northbound horse and took the steering column with it seems like a crow-bar. so i have nothing on my steering column exept an abundance of free-hanging wires.

I have a spare GT column, with ign switch (no key) and all the other wires, in correct order, just not sure of the threaded portion where the steering wheel goes. I'll have to check. If good, would that help out?
