I use 1/4" nylon aquarium airline tubing also. It comes in 25 ft. bundles (enough for 2 cars) for a couple of dollars at Walmart. One tip is to warm up the ends and spread with a pair of needle nose pliers to flare them and make slipping on to the fittings easier. You could go with the site that you have linked in the question, but their nylon tubing #8359K14 McMaster-Carr is going to cost you a lot more.
