that is actually the reason why I took the dash out in the first place, the heater core was shot. I then bought the whole heater unit on ebay for like $50 including shipping and it was broken....ugh the guy wouldnt give me a refund but he will take like $15 off the next thing I buy from him. so I just put the new heater core in the old unit. I havent put the dash in because im spraying another coat of paint on it next weekend, and I will start reasembly the following week.

i wus dealing with some small cpu fans the other day and i thought about our opel heater system and how u can bairly feel any air that comes out of those little vent on the dash, will i wus thinkin why not take a small circle fan thats the same diamter as the rubber hose that delivers the air to those vents, cut the tubing in half install the fan then , the hard part figuring how to reconect the ends but once i figure that out it would work great ive seen mods like this done to some of the 90's mercedes that have the rear heater vents worked great, i will try this in the next week or so and report the outcome, ill laos post a pic of my proposed design for all to see.
