Smile Unanswered: Opel Kadette Heater Valve

Just an FYI for anybody looking for a heater control valve for there 68-72 Kadette. Oldairproducts.com says that for their August special they have (4) of them at 76.50. I dont know if that is a good price, I just thought I would pass the word.

Changed my thermostat and the blower unit and coolant seem to move and flow freely. MY GT heater control valve is limited on movement so I suspect that another is needed. Anyone got an extra one out there? Seventy-six bucks is a bit much. PM me, it is damn cold in the northeast at the moment.

When I lived up north, I used a home depot type manual water valve, or just bypass the valve and run full flow to the heater.
