6 volt Opel

OK- just waiting for the responses on this ebay # 110041024638. I didn't realize that the Gt was once a 6 volt- would this be a PO modification and why would you change from an original 12 volt to a 6 volt?

No 6 volt GTs

As far as I know there has never been a 6 volt system in the GT. I can`t see it mentioned in the 1968-1973 OPEL and GT PARTS BOOK either (got it 2 days ago from e-bay ). Only 12 volts.

Ad reads that it also has a/c, but I cant see controls, vents or compressor for one. Might be one GT that could actually do 150 though..lol. Lot of horseys for the weight. I do like the cloth seats.

Arrow 6 volts

Have contacted him with short history of Opel models and suggested deletion of any 6V reference for post '64 Opel models. Let's just wait and see if he's really interested in ad accuracy . . .
