Thumbs up Unanswered: IF I acquire NEW GT front windshields

will anyone care to place an advance special order as I have to purchase 30 of them at a great expense?

MSRP is $600.00 according to the glass company.
These are OEM made by triplex
I can sell them for $380.00 NEW plus frieght/trucking fees.

Please let me know by emailing : USAOpel@usa.com

First come first served, when these are gone I do not know how or where to get any more they may be the last stash of NEW GT FWS on the planet.

Jim, are these NOS or New OEM? I've noticed that the reproduced windshields tend to be less thick and more prone to chips and cracks.

Garage
A few years back, I gave a good original GT windshield with German markings to Lo-Can glass so they could use it to make a mold and reproduce them. As it turned out, they sent it to India for manufacture and something was not quite right with the reproductions and they stopped selling them. Lo-Can was bought out by another glass company a year or so later. Not sure what happened to their stock, but I can probably get the numbers from one.

Some Don't Fit ....

There has been several large batches of GT front screens that DO NOT FIT!
One such batch has "Pilkinton" "Triplex" and "Made in England" markings on them be very wary of large batches of GT screens and make sure that the do fit correctly before buying .... The lower corners stick out too far.

Yup- you are right. I talked to Dennis last June and they were out. He gave me their suppliers Tele # to which I called. The supplier was out of stock but would be getting them in again in August. Got an email from the supplier the middle of August with notification they were back in stock and shipping. As far as I know- I don't think OGTS is stocking them anymore but their supplier is. BTW- mine fit great.
