hood hinge

My gt had the hood hinge froze up and the mounting bracket all bent and broken if any one has one they can get a few good pic's of would help me out a lot on my rebuild thanks alot broszzy

Fragile !!

The mounting brackets for the hood hinge are just bent sheet metal held on to the body with one 8mm bolt. They are well known for seizing up and being bent and torn to bits. Good idea to fit a couple of grease nipples into each end of the cross tube where the round bits welded to the mounting brackets rotate inside the tube.
