I thought real early GTs had the 1.1 L in them, that sure looks like a 1.9L to me. I didn't see split front bumpers, of course I've never seen split bumpers, so have nothing to compare that with, and the pic of the rear of the car was not good enuff to see if the panel around the license plate was flat or not. Oh well.

have you looked up the vin number yet to see ?

it should be a lower number than 9X-1535504 where X is 3 for a 1.1 and 4 is a 1.9

Don't worry guys.....I'm still here, just not getting that much time on the net these days.

The car was owned by one of our club members for what I understand was only a short period of time and as I understand it the car was in storage for a number of years.

I've not seen the car and therefore am not sure of it's history, but I would be suprised if it were a genuine '68, the pics don't give enough detail for the eagle eyed '68 spotters.

That said for £2500 a GT on the road in the UK (with minor fettling) it's pretty cheap and I would be happy to use it as a daily hack.

Although its has the square lights but yet the NON flat back panel, my 69 is the same way
