what year is this opel gt

we came across this opel gt al that was started as a race car. we would like to know the year model. the serial number is 94-1983234. the color code is 406 751. any information would be helpful.

it should be a late 1970 one. looked it up. there is a pfd file somewhere here about the differences between the gt's of each year. and 1970 began with #94-1888818

in 71 they began a different number sequence.
