From what I saw in the Hemmings article, you have a beautiful survivor-class vehicle that would stand up to any other car in any show. Brag on it, be arrogant if you wish (to non-Opelers, of course ), as long as you keep showing people what real style is all about.

I'd be tempted to reshoot the hood, it's been done once already so why not try to get a better match?

I was at carlisle this year and to me it looks like the car was hit from behind. Or at least the drivers side rear corner (as thats all I could see with the ropes there). I am about 98% sure that between the wheel arch and the rear side marker that there has been bondo and a respray. I wish I could have got a closer look at the rest of the body but those darn ropes were holding me back!

Otherwise it was a beautiful car, I was interested in buying it when it was up for sale but you beat me too it!
