    Manny,
If you are working on Harry Potter, I'll just slink away back to my tinker-toy world.

I dont have Krakatoa, but have FumeFX 2.

Do you freelance or work for a production house?

Its sooo cool to find a 3d brother here...

Not at all, please. Everyone has to start somewhere. I work freelance.

I'm sorry we don't use the same software. We could share techniques.

    Manny,
Actually I have been doing forensic work for some time, and there are not many places or individuals that push the envelope of photo realisum more tham me.
Still far from movie quality, but pretty good..
Almost all the examples on my web site are pretty old.
Its hard to get clients to allow me to post the work I have done (technically I can, but not if I ever want to do more work for them)..

Is that your digital GT? It looks great at that angle! Will this model be available?

    Manny

PS. And if that's your purple GT, then WOW!!! I love how it sits. Just perfect!

From the rendered angle, the exterior looks pretty complete. What's left to do on the model?

Today status, its just a model to have "the look", but i´m going to design a complete tubeular chassis and suspension, so this is just the beginning of the process. And thats why i have a shell to build and fit everything in place in the model.

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335206814.777748.jpgHi,

I'm interested in using your 3d model for my own design purposes.

I've built an XR3 chassis (real life and a digital chassis). The items that I build are not very curvaceous.

I'm not sure how accurate your model is on the interior, but I would like to use it for positioning my batteries in the fuel tank area. Putting the Warp 9 motor in place would be a nice touch too.

    I attached a shrink-disc that I modeled.
