    Dennis from close to Centervile

I've been attracted to Opels ever since seeing one in Germany in 1974 I have 5 now one for each year they were made. Looking into getting possible no. 6 next copuple of weeks.
I have a early 69 model with front split bumper and flat back panel it is blue The 1970 is yellow, only mods are header and weber rest is original. 1971 yellow with almost complete original AC pretty much restored and drivable. The 72 is fire glow new motor and body work yet to be painted, in shop now. 1973 is forest green good shape from an earlier restoration before I bought it.
Aside from al that I have another 3 or 4 opels inparts on shelves.

Welcome.. You have quite a collection.. and a 68/9 split bumper.. Great.

There are plenty of knowledgable Opelers in Tx. so you have a great group close by(relatively)

yes I've talked with some of the members over the years...the split bumper has been been replaced by a later model one piece. I need to get the original ones rechromed and put back on the car. The one thing I do not have is the original head light handle it was more square then the latter ones.

    Welcome

What is the VIN# on your early -69? Mine is an early -69 too, left the factory in Germany 19 dec 1968, and has VIN# 94 167 1024.
