Hi, welcome to the Opel community, and the site. There's a FSM downloaded on this site, but, the links are not working at this moment. Gary is working on it. But, go to Ebay and get a FSM. As for the brakes, if the car has been sitting for a while, the first thing to check is the front brake lines.

Heck ya this site rocks . Iv learned alot in the few hours i been on . Im not going for power more like a daily driver, and looks. The Manta has 30k and Im the 2nd owner . my beetle (turbo1914cc) has all the power i need but not reliable or gas friendly . Im a big fan of 4clys/pre80's cars, thats when auto makers cared about there product. Well back to learnin the specs of this car

Hi Joe. Another welcome.
Nice to see another midwest Opler. Are you aware that many of
us gather every year just south of Peoria in Springfield, Il at the Rt.66 Festival as a Opel Motorsports Club meet? No membership needed and all Opelers are
welcome. Here is a link to my album with pictures of the last two meets
in Springfield.

Some of us convoy as we meet up on the way there.
The Opels really come out of the woodwork for it.

Here's a link Otto (Tekenaar) put up earlier this week for the filter and vacuum modulator for the TH 180 trann, used in the Opels. HTH.

If everything seems to be going well you have obviously overlooked something.
