new opel owner

I just acquired a 1956 Olympia caravan. I'm going to restore her. It is my first Opel. I've owned VWs. I own now a 1948 Riley RMA, !953 Lanchester, 1953 Daimler, and 1956 Wolseley 15/50. The Opel is a bit different than the English cars. Parts not as easy to find.

welcome aboard and good luck with the project. Post some pix of the before and throughout the restoration process. We would love to see the old gal come back to life.

Sounds like you have a real taste for the unusual

I'd love to see some snaps of the British cars, as well as the Olympia. I've seen a few on this site, but not many. These guys may be able to help you track down some bits:

Welcome aboard Wolseley. If you can find parts for a Riley, then you most certainly will be able to find parts for the Opel.
