Looking for some help with my opel.

Hey, I am in posession of a 1970 Opel Gt. It was one of my Dad's first cars and after sitting in our yard for 15 years I felt it a good time to rebuild it. I'm not very knowledgeable on Opels quite yet, so I cant promise on contributing much to the forum to start out with, but I imagine as i rebuild and run into problems I can help with similar ones in the future. As for right now I'm looking for a place where I can ask general questions and keep a log/update kind of thing going, which subforum would that fall under?

I've also been lurking around quite a bit and I must say you guys do some fantastic rebuilds.

Gary has a "blog" section set up under "logbook" at the top of each page. Start your own, or just start a thread on the main page. Keep us posted and use the search feature. If it's not in the search, ask away

Welcome to the site! I noticed you are in NC. Check in with Roy Bell aka. Ooooner, he ain't reel brite but he's a nice feller and grills some mean BBQ.

Seriously, Roy is in Concord and is the Pres. of the Carolina Opel Club and is glad to meet any fellow Opeler. He even puts up with me when I go for a visit.

Cool, a Carolina Opel Club? Sounds like i'll have to look into that.
