Hello from Georgia!

I owned a 1973 Opel GT for about three years when I was in college. It was a very fun car with a lot of character! I wish I would have kept my Opel, but I'm really glad to see all the Opels in this forum coming back to life and going strong!

have a care there are a lot of Georgia opelers here , they will hunt you down and make you drink with them and eat funny food to us from the rest of the world

where abouts are you ? they may be closer than is safe to talk about LOL

Well, seeing as you're over in the Smyrna area, we have several near you. Edwin, Juan, Dan and Ging. We're trying to put together a meet here in the next few weeks to discuss who's going to Carisle, PA for the East Coast meet. We tend to meet at the Delkwood Bar & Grill, but, we're looking into going to a German resturant off Peachtree Ind called "Kurts" Join our Social Group and watch for threads here and posts there about meets. BTW< there's a nice GT in Winder, GA for sale. It's been on Craig's list for a while. Or you can pony up $25K for the award winning Spyder that was Dallas'

Welcome. You need to come to our next meet. You'll be enthraled just seeing all the Opels back in one place again.

And there is nothing like driving in an Opel convoy.

Joining the forum was one of 3 steps you will regret later.
1. You join the forum and dream about when you were young and had an Opel.
2. You come to one of our meetings, and already feel younger between all the ol' Opels.
3. You get hooked again, buy a sporty Opel, and finally be young again!

Welcome to our madness.
Please make sure you follow all club rules and buy an Opel. But most of all, beware of a guy lurking in the background that goes by the name of Edwin. He will make you go to meetings and talk about Opel stuff for hours.
