Isuzu (not Opel) in FL

I know I know. It's not an Opel, but my 81 I-Mark sedan is pretty lonely.
I've been visiting the forum for awhile; Figured it was time to say HEY
Some parts interchange & the Kadett C is a close cousin so I hope y'all won't diss me too bad.

Been working on & around cars for a couple of decades.
Starting in NH at dealerships then Savannah both at dealerships & aftermarket suppliers.
I finally settled down, went back to school & got a BS in Health Sci.
Moved to Orlando, taught HS Science for a bit but these kids today can be wild
We had a student-on-student fatal stabbing my first month.
Change of plans - soon will finish either an MPH or MS in epidemiology.

I've had to scrounge for info on my little Isuzu; Found alot on AU sites for their version - Holden Gemini.
Considering the scarcity of available tech lit & parts on these earliest US Zoos I have been somewhat succesful at keeping her on the road.

I loved reading Heimues story on bringing his C back from Texas.
I'd seen that on Cardomain way back & am still amazed the PO sold it. Awesome score Sir.

Dieter is another member I've enjoyed reading about.

Welcome. Sure many of us consider the Isuzu built versions to be Opel enough. I used to road race in SCCA showroom stock with both an Opel Ascona in SSB and Buick/Opel (Isuzu) in SSC and they had many very similar components. As you know, your I-mark is very much the Buick/Opel at the end of it's life cycle after Izuzu took over selling it here.
