Hello

Just wanted to say Hello, and introduce myself. I am Kevin. I just bought a 1972 Opel GT. It's not in bad shape and is a German one that was personally imported (not by Buick). I will post pictures as soon as I actually pick it up next weekend.

My father bought me an Opel GT for my first car, and it was in very rough shape so he sold it not long afterward. I have wanted one since then. Anyway, thanks for all the contributions, it will make my restore TONS easier. I look forward to it.

Kevin

Ditto! There is a LOT of info on this site which can usually be located with the search engine. Barring that you can't find it or you have a new question fire away, there are a lot of people who have been there before that are willing to share what they've learned.

The true European cars are really cool for a number of feature including colors we didn't get here, no rear side markers, true fog lights rather than turn signals and few other features, so naturally, we like the pics.
