Hello to all,

I'm new to the site. Having just purchased a 1964 Kadett A Caravan for the wife, I was looking for some parts and ran across you folks. Not much out there in the way of Kadett A caravans was hoping I could find some insight here.

Hi Wayne,

Welcome to the site. Hope you enjoy the Kadett. There is a thread going right now asking about cars such as you just bought, those Opels produced before 1968, and you might want to add yours. Most of the cars which people on this site have are Opel GTs, but some have other, older cars as well and I thought that it would be interesting to find out how many of these there are. Again, welcome. Bill

This looks like the little caravan on Ebay from New York. Glad to see it got a good home. mach1tom here on the site has one like this that he has collected a bunch of parts for. You might want to contact him about part availability.

That is the one that just sold on ebay. I was watching it to see what it would sell at. A friend and I are looking to pick up a 1967 Kadett L wagon with a 1.1 shortly. It is in similar condition to the one you picked up. We are planing to flip it, hope it can pull in that much.

I did indeed did purchase this Opel from a used dealer in New York off of E-bay. I will contact the below mentioned member to see what parts he has for sale.

I was watching this car on ebay. I am a wagon lover and really wished this one was for me.

Some time in the future the wagon of Opel flavor will re-enter my life again.
