Very Few ...
There are very few people with Kadett B series on here - let alone Kadett C series. You are the only one I know about! This means that many of us do not have a clue about the more essoteric aspects of Kadett C models.
See if you can load up a few pics of the affected part - then we might be able to help! Kadett C models are 'modern' to us. Mind you - do you know of or have access to any 1.2S motor parts - particularly a new camshaft? My 1967 Kadett Rallye with its 1.1SR motor needs a new OHV camshaft.

no luck couldnt find a lose wire or anything it all looks sound as a pound! any one got any ideas i think it could be a relay gone but i cant see that the demister and the fan realy would go at the same time, im gunna start thinking bout just customizing a new switch to put a voltage throught the demister and gettin a 3 point switch for the fan and jsut wirining it from the battery to the switch directly and adding a fuse holder in the wire just to be safe. any one think this would work. and anyone know the voltages for the fan and demister?

Vaux/Opel
Both use a bank of three or four resistance coils of differing ohms to make speed changes. These burn out and fall off and the contacts that move between them to alter the value ... and therefore the fan speed ... also get worn and eroded. See if you can find something like that in behind the dash ... somewhere!

ok i got a new heater control and changed it and the bulb was blow so changed that is worked!!!! the demister was working but only if i directly wired the orignal power cable to the ignition but still it worked but the blower didnt so i played with it a bit and it worked too so i put it all back together but now only the blowers work so im thinking its just a loose wire in the back of the mounting block but ill have a play. cheers for your help

Is possible but use a relay [there are special relays with a fuse for that purpose] between the switch [use one with a built in or seperate signal light] and the demister.
