Unanswered: my 70 Kadett Rallye

Here are a few snaps of my project.

The seats were recovered with a black/white/grey herringbone pattern and I complemented the door panels to match. My dash pad ended up with a small crack on the left side of it (as per OPEL usual) and I made a small dash pad to hide the problem until I can locate a new pad. Still lots of inside detailing work to be done.

Nice Kadett, Ray. I surely would have liked seeing it at the annual Vintage Sports Car Club of Calgary (www.vsccc.ca) European Field Show, which we finally held the week before last (delayed a week due to SNOW in Calgary!). Nary an Opel in the field, but two of us members have them, so maybe next year. Book it in your schedule now for September 15, 2007. And drag that darn Mike down from Morinville with his GT Convertible.

Keith, your link isn`t working. Think it should be www.vsccc.ca

Kadett: looks great.....the herringbone interior reminds me of a poster I had IN 1970 along with a black light and strobe light..etc etc.!

Really nice work, Ray . . . KUDOS!! Really have come to appreciate these little guys since rescuing my '69 LS from Seattle.
