Unanswered: Parting out Kadett wagon

Does anyone need any (free) parts specific to a 1969 Kadett wagon? (w/1.9 automatic and 3.18 rear axle)

I'm going to chop up the one I have to make some room in my driveway, and would hate to send all the parts to the crusher. Body panels are shot BTW.

Does it have front and rear sway bars? If so, I'll take them

I wonder if the steering wheel cowl, where shaft goes thru the dash is the same as the late 67 wagon? If so I need one.

Hi Bob,
Is the spare tire cover any good? How about the dash pad? Thanks for thinking of us!

I'm interested in the 3.18 gears.

Tire cover is definitely broken. Not sure about the dash, I'll check.

The complete rear axle you mean? Or just the gears?

Arrow Mostly small, throw-away 'restoration' parts

Would you save all the underhood springmetal wire loom clips on both inner fenders for me? Also, if the car still has the original battery cables, both positive and ground, I'd like those as well. Oh, and what about the heater control valve with the spring clip for the control wire, if still there. Thanks . . .

OH! OH! OH! . . . just thought of one more piece after rereading your original post and realizing that it's an automatic. Could you rescue the driver side hard line (metal tubing) and fittings from the auto trans, the line that goes to the radiator. Mine was evidently "fixed" with hose and clamps along the engine oilpan rail at some point in its history and I'd like to "fix" it correctly . . . like the original was.

Just the gears. If someone is closer and wants/needs the whole rear that's fine also. I figure it's a lot to ask to ship the complete rear especially when all I want are the gears. If it is too much trouble I understand.

Thanks,
Harold

Opel Parts Needed

I am looking for beige carpets for a newly-acquired 69 wagon. If they are in decent condition (especially the front), please let me know. Also, if the right front fender is straight and unrusted, I am interested as well (my car is beige). Finally, I'm looking for an unbroken driver's side taillight lens.

Bob how about the wind window door rubbers? I need those if they are any good at all. Plus the condition of the fixed and swingout side window rubbers?? Thanks.

Sorry, I live in the rust belt, so none of the above apply! Car is currently frozen in a snow bank, it won't get touched until spring anyway.

They're nothing to write home about Tom. I'm just going to junk the entire car, it's really not worth saving at this point, and I badly need the space.
