It should be pretty straight forward as all you should need to do is go through the same process as some of us GT boys.
If you gather as much information about your car, VIN number etc and email rainerhopfengart@de.opel.com at Opel headquarters you should get the necessary info. Good luck.

Kadett VIN Numbers
The 1964-1967 Opel Kadett parts Book (Effective may, 1971) has a list of start and finish Chassis numbers in the front pages.
1966 Model 39 2 Door Station Wagon Starting Chassis No. 39 0651286 1967 Model 39 2 Door Station Wagon Starting Chassis No. 39 0957662 Your Chassis No. 39 0832642 is around mid-way between so would have ben produced in mid-production year (306,376 between the numbers and yours 181,356 in from the start). Plus Opel shut for most of July for Summer Holidays so less were produced in the second half of the Model year ... say around March/April 1966 for the production date of your particular Wagon. Be interesting if Opel reply to you and we can compare my estimation with actuality HTH

. . . actually, Summer Holidays in Germany are in August, as I recall from several business trips there . . . I'm sure some of our German readers will correct me if I'm having a "senior moment" here.

Our German friends
It looks like we should start talking Mr. Rainer Hopfengart and his colleagues into becoming members here.

Thanks for help!
I appreciate the messages for the specific answer, but I was just curious as I still had the VIN for a car that died in December, 1983. If I were looking for one built on my date of birth, I would have to seek a very early '67.
But I wouldn't bet on finding it.
