Very cool project. Nice to see that the older Opels are appreciated as well as the GTs, Mantas and such. I like your choice of wheels. I have a 13X6 set of ATS that I got from a friend in Belgium. They will be going on my wife's Sportwagon (Ascona A Voyage as you know it) Keep up the good work and keep us posted as to your progress!!

Great car to build. My first Opel was a 69 Kadette Rallye. You are doing great work on the body. Love your choice of wheels and tires.
Keep the work going. Soon you will be driving a great car. Mike |

It's just my opinion, but shouldn't you have bigger (wider) tires on those rims? And the size you have chosen will throw the speedometer reading off by about 13%. According to my tire calculator, your speedometer will show 100 km/h, but you will actually be doing 87.4 km/h (if the stock tire is a 155/80R13, which I think is right). A better size would have been a 225/55-13, if such a thing exists, or at least a tire with a wider section closer to 205 to 225 mm. The 175 mm section tire is simply too narrow for an 8 inch wheel IMHO
