How rare are these cars? I'm currently working on one and can find very little info on it. Any suggestions for any and all window rubber would be appreciated as it is in desperate need of some. This car was a one owner until recently. The original owner was a teacher at a nearby 4yr. university and the car has been parked in a barn probably for 20 years or more.

It is equipped with a 1.1 liter engine, 1 bbl. carb, power brakes with disc/drum setup, and generator.

My '67 Kiemen Kadett (see avatar pic) is pretty much the same as yours. Mine has a leaf spring rear suspension, which I believe is the main difference (yours has rear coils?) between the 1967 and 1967 1/2 1.1 liter Kadetts.

Killer Texas GT has been a great source of windshield and rear window seals, plus rear suspension bushings for my leaf springs, which have to be fun to find.

Opel Jim shipped a very nice headliner and carpet kit for my Kadett as well.

'67/'67 1/2

The Factory parts List Book shows Chassis No. 321239547 as the start number for '67 1/2 Model 32 Sports Coupe'

and 1967 Model 32 2 Door Sports Coupe' starting at No. 320957603

So ... any with a chassis number between that would be a '67 one (logically!)

Not sure when the gills (like fish have to breathe with!) behind the rear quaterlight appeared but they were no longer used when the rear screen went from curved to flatter.
Opel must have made new rear quarter panel stampings when the rear screen flattened ... and not put the 'gill' pressings in ... probably to save die costs! The GM cost accountants strike again .....

So this one is a 67 (VIN 321029966). So what are the 'Real' differences between the 67 & 67 1/2 models other than the VIN?
I have pictures of another one that I believe came with a twin carb setup but may have drum front brakes. I looked at pictures of the engine compartment and it does NOT have power brakes. The current engine came from a different car and as a single headpipe as opposed to the newer two into one style. I believe there are some subtle interior differences as well.
