Huh, I never considered that idea. That's what I like about this group, everyone is always looking to help someone else out

I would hate to see someone part with a much loved possesion just because of space.
Have you considered the option of a public storage unit? It may be costly in the long run but will keep the car close by for Sunday drives |

Duane;
If someone would adopt the '68 Kadett I got, I could probably store the wagon in that spot until you get more room. If not we could have a "part the 68 out" party and roll your wagon in. Thoughts from this group? Jeff

I have considered a storage unit and even priced one of those "Pods". I also looked into a 12x20 shed with an overhead door on one end. It just doesn't make sense to spend money each month to store the car somewhere when my limited funds need to go towards building the bedroom. Also, having the car anywhere else but home will only mean it will get driven less. You would then have to drive somewhere to pick the car up so you could drive it. I still like Bob's idea so far...................

I can ask my neighbor if I can store it for you. No cost. How long would it be in storage? Months, years? You are only 45 minutes from me so you could visit it every so often. It is a typical Pole Barn with a dirt floor(and hay). Just some possible options Jeff.

This car actually was my daily driver until I got a company vehicle so it makes a great commuter car. Thank you for the offer Jeff. I will give it a bit of thought and talk it over with Lynn and let you know. Does your neighbor do turbo installations???

You're not making this any easier. You're a bad influence on my bank account .......... but I like the idea! I have always wanted to lower the car a bit, not as much as the Manta, put a great suspension under it and good engine/drive train. It would be very cool with the body and interior left stock. I agree, no hacking the body, it's just too nice. I could easily be talked into this project.
