Difference between Kadett "L" and "LS" ??

I have seen Kadett emblems as "L" and also "LS".

What is the difference in the car that changes the lettering?

Incorrect

You are thinking Mantas with the Luxus. It states in catalogs as
Luxury
and
Luxury Sport

And getting technical
The LS is called the Kadett Super Deluxe Coupe (Model 95)
And
The L is called Deluxe Coupe, Could be Sport Sedan as well I believe, as I think it came in a "L" model as well

Luxus was a model of the Manta

Incorrect

All Fastbacks are "LS" Models
Incorrect again

The Rallye is a fast back, not an LS

I also thought you could get a fastback in a Kadett "L" as well

I've called mine worse things. A former Opel racer used to curse his by called it a first cousin to a Vega, at one time he raced Pontiac's version, the Astra.

Might be a difference between U.S. and European Spec.
